Where Kids of Today Become the Leaders of Tomorrow
Limestone Kids Science Academy is part of National Science Research and Energy Council (NSERC) week, 19-23 September 2023.
NSERC Week is an annual event, which celebrates the Canadian scientific community, and our scientific achievements. Across the country scientists deliver talks, symposiums and seminars related to scientific discovery and research.
This year, NSERC Week is offering a family friendly event designed with kids in mind: Limestone Kids Science Academy, which offers kid safe science experiments that make science fun and approachable for younger children. This event is geared towards children aged 5-10.
Take home a Limestone Kids Science Academy Passport to keep science fun all year round. Your passport is available to take home following the event. For those who can’t attend in person click here for an online booklet you can use at home.
Limestone Kids Science Academy participants learn about science with Madame Chantaille who holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in biochemistry and microbiology from the University of Victoria.
